Buy Back Policy

 
We at Chintamanis understand the significance of jewellery, and how much care and caution is given to select the right kind of jewellery for you or your loved ones. Be it gold or diamond jewellery, there are several apprehensions faced by a customer regarding delivery, return, exchange, benefits, and much more. So, we have devised a set of policies to ensure easy understanding, smooth transactions and a happier you.
We recommend that you read each of the policy and rules, mentioned below:

Return and Refund Policy

If there is any jewellery from Chintamanis that you wish to return, it must be done within -
  • 15 days of date of delivery through online purchase.
  • 7 days of date of in-store purchase.
The jewellery intended to be returned should be in perfect condition and must be accompanied with its -
  • Order number
  • Invoice
  • Label of the product
  • Certificate(s)
Customized jewellery is not returnable and hence will not be refunded.
Any expenses incurred for returning the jewellery are to be solely borne by the customer.
On satisfying the above conditions, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded via cheque. Please send your details at info@chintamanis.in.

Lifetime Exchange & Up Grade Policy

We offer lifetime exchange and option to up grade at Chintamanis, depending on the following:
  • Gold jewellery will be exchanged or upgraded at the prevailing gold rate at Chintamanis.
  • Gold jewellery will be exchanged or upgraded at the prevailing gold rate at Chintamanis.
  • Making charges and other stones, kundan & pearls will not be considered while exchanging or upgrading.
The customer will have to furnish Invoice & Certificate of the product to avail Exchange or Up grade facility.
The rates and values will be final, as decided by Chintamanis.
Any expenses incurred for sending the jewellery to Chintamanis for Exchange or Up Grade, are to be solely borne by the customer.
This offer is not available on customized jewellery.

Buy Back Policy

We also accept jewellery if you wish to sell it back at any point of time, depending on the following:
  • Gold jewellery will be bought back at the prevailing gold rate at Chintamanis.
  • Diamond jewellery will be bought back at 90% of the prevailing rate.
  • Making charges and other stones, kundan & pearls will not be considered while buying back.
The customer will have to furnish Invoice & Certificate of the product to avail Buy Back facility.
The amount for the jewellery bought back shall be paid via cheque. Please send in your details at info@chintamanis.in.
The rates and values will be final, as decided by Chintamanis.
Any expenses incurred for sending the jewellery to Chintamanis for Buying Back, are to be solely borne by the customer.
This offer is not available on customized jewellery.

Registration & Payment Methods for Online Purchase

The User will have to register on the website and become a Registered Member in order to be eligible to purchase online.
Registration is only a one time process and if the Member has previously registered, he shall login / sign into his / her account.
We offer the following payment methods if you have purchased Chintamanis jewellery online:
  • Cash On Delivery
    We provide cash on delivery (COD) facility, but only upto INR 25,000. Excess of INR 25,000 must be paid online.
  • Online
    You can choose to make online payment through C C Avenue or NEFT/RTGS.
  • Offline
    Offline payments to Chintamanis can be done via cheques.

Delivery and Shipping Policy

If you choose to purchase Chintamanis jewellery from our online store, please note the following for delivery and shipping:
  • We provide free shipping to our customers within India. Customers outside India will have to bear the shipping costs.
  • The jewellery shall be delivered to you within 15 Day of the order made online.
  • It is recommended that the customer checks the package delivered for any damage or tamper before accepting the delivery.
  • Intimation will be provided to the customer at the time of shipping as well as at the time of delivery through their registered mail id.
  • We have partnered with Sequel Logistics, one of the top logistics firm, who will ensure safe and timely delivery of your jewellery.
